How to setup Firefox Proxy on MacOS X
You may want to configure your favorite web browser to use Transperant Proxy even you are not conected to VPN. You will not be asked for user/pass, however, credentials will be asked if you setup proxy on your browser and you are not connected through VPN.

Open Firefox preferences
Open Firefox application and click the button on right top then click on "Preferences".

Network proxy settings
Find "Network Proxy" section then click on "Settings".

Connection Settings
You can enter the server address as shown below.

Automatic Configuration
Optionaly, you may prefer to use automatic proxy configuration if you tick "Automatic proxy configuration URL".

Privacy & Security
To use SSL-Bumped proxy, as well as connect HTTPS/SSL sites through transparent proxy. You should download the Intermediate certificate and install to Firefox to be able to connect SSL sites as shown below.

Click on "Authorities" tab then "Import".

Select the ".der" file on on your computer.

Check for Trust options and click on "OK".

Enter your username and password
You will be prompted by a username/password request to use proxy. You do not need to provide any credential during your VPN connection is up.
