Siver Injury Media in Sweden

A new one is added every day to the attack targeting media organs. During the past weekend, a coordinated cyber attack took place against leading Swedish media institutions. Some IP addresses were found in Russia that caused the DDoS attack, where the country's top selling newspapers were denied access to internet sites.

Netnod records, which is responsible for the Swedish leg of the Internet traffic, said that there was a significant increase in internet traffic to Sweden via Russian internet operators after 20:00 pm yesterday evening.

It was stated that it did not show that the cyber attack was Russia-centered, but that the people behind the attack and the attackers could have done it through Russia or through Russian computers infected with the virus.
