Award Winner Program is Starting to Improve Tor Safety

TOR networks that target the Internet free from censorship can expose to attacks by intelligence services that want to access user information.

Particularly state-sponsored hackers are exploiting the security weaknesses found in the TOR system and trying to reach the real identity of the users.

The prizefighter program will contribute to the development of system security by awarding researchers who report serious security vulnerabilities in TOR networks and on the website. Until today, the openings in TOR is revealing by volunteer security experts. The clarifying researcher explained that the Open Technology Fund is the sponsor for an award.

It is alleging that the FBI paid $ 1 million to Carnegie Mellon University to decipher TOR users.
